Bears to District Semi-Finals, Qualify for State

With the win over Union in Round One of the District playoffs, the Bears move onto the semi-finals of Districts and automatically qualify for the 4A State Playoffs in the process. The Bears will be one of six teams that will qualify for the state playoffs from the District 3/4 4A Tournament. The other automatic qualifiers from District 3/4 to this point are the Sumner Spartans, the Curtis Vikings, and the Olympia Bears.

The District Semi-Finals and Finals will take place on Saturday, May 16 at Tahoma High School. The schedule is as follows.

Game One

Matchup: (7) Curtis vs. (3) Sumner

Time: 11:00 am

Game Two

Matchup: (5) Olympia vs. (1) Tahoma

Time: 2:00 pm

Game Three

Matchup: Winner Game One vs. Winner Game Two

Time: 5:00 pm

The State Playoff tournament will begin the following Saturday (May 23, 2026). Seeding will be released upon the completion of District tournaments in Districts 1/2, 3/4, 5, and 6.
