The Tahoma program had a perfect week across the board.
Varsity - Tahoma 8, Auburn Riverside 1
The Bears opened up league play against the Auburn Riverside Ravens in their first year moving up to 4A Classification. It was a hard-fought game between the two sides featuring outstanding pitching for both teams. For the Bears, Adam Jay drew the start and went 2.2 scoreless innings before giving way to Bryson Leach who threw 2.1 scoreless innings of his own. The Bears offense struggled to get going, but some aggressive baserunning helped decide the game.

The bats got going for the Bears in game two against the Ravens, as the team racked up 8 hits on the night. On the mound, Sean Evans, Talon Coker, and Beckett Turnbow combined to allow just 2 hits and 1 total run across 7 innings. Offensively, the Bears mounted a well-rounded attack that saw them score in 4 of 6 innings thanks to the aforementioned 8 hits as well as 6 stolen bases as a team (led by Timmy McEwen and Lucas Post with 2 each).

JV Blue grabbed another thrilling win with a 6th inning go-ahead single from Rowan Douglas to put the Bears on top for good. Hudson Thom drew the start on the mound for JV Blue and was dominant. The talented sophomore threw 3 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 hit, walking 3, and striking out 9. Grayson Perkins, Jackson McEwen, and Eli Grant finished things out, allowing just 2 runs.

JV Gold snagged two wins, the first against non-league opponent Mount Si. Jacob Nold, Chase Hollowell, Noah Ruud, and Drew Sutherland combined to allow just 1 earned run, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. The Bears offense was powered by a 5-run 4th inning keyed by hits from Max Butcher, Noah Ruud, and Carter Stumpges.

JV Gold laid the hurt on Auburn Riverside for their second win of the week. The offense pounded out 12 hits, led by Zach Moser with a multi-hit performance. Moser and Colin Clem each accounted for 4 RBI. The offense also smashed 4 extra base hits. The Bears pitching held down the Riverside offense, allowing just 3 hits on the day.
